| Paintball Mania is planning to become the 1st paintball site in the North East of England to host Tactical Paintball days. Tactical paintball is designed to be more scenario based, with complex missions throughout the day designed to achieve one overall objective. Using small 'tactical' hoppers and limited ammo supplies, the day is much more about planning and tactics than the normal style of paintball. Anyone who loves woodsball and scenario days will love Tactical paintball, and airsofters looking to advance onto playing paintball will find Tactical paintball very suited to their style of play. The days will feature lots of explosives - trip mines, claymores, grenades and land mines. | Mars Bar Series............................ | |
The Mars Bar Series is a series of weeknight 3-a-side tournaments, with the prize being a Mars Bar for each of the winning team, (hence the name, the tournament is not, unfortunately, sponsored by Mars...but I am open to offers!) Obviously, with such a grand prize on offer, the competition is very fierce...NOT! The Mars Bar Series is a chance for noobs and experienced players alike to play tournament style paintball in a relaxed, friendly (most of the time!) environment, and at a price that won't break the bank. The next session is scheduled to start in the first week of May. If you would like to form a 3-a-side team of your own, or find other people wanting to form a team, just send an e-mail to team3@pbmania.co.uk. You do not need to be an experienced player, and you do not need any special equipment, everything can be provided. You may use your own equipment if you have it. Games are to be played on the speedball area, wednesday nights between 6.30 and 9.00. |
